Here are a couple of cards I made with Twinkling H2O's and Unity stamps. I used the beautiful butterfly and daisy stamp from the Jan. 2012 kit of the month set. Love this set.

Next I made a card with Donna Poppies. Poppies are one of my favorite flowers! I used twinkling H2O's on this one and a brown Sharpie to outline the image after I finished painting them. I also used the fine tip brown sharpie to the stamens for more contrast. As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Unity Sketch and Monthly Challenge

Hi everyone. I made a card for the Unity Sketch Challenge and the Unity Monthly Challenge. I used the house stamp from the Jan. 2012 stamp kit of the month as well as the Heart and Soul sentiment. I stamped the house onto some Memory Box Valise designer paper with Tim Holtz tea dye Distress Ink. I love stamping on patterned paper and the house looks great with 2 different papers. I used a SU punch for the hearts, a Memory Box Scalloped Posie die for the rosettes. I free hand cut the clouds and inked all the edges with the tea
dye. I added some rick-rack, lace, and twine to complete the card. Hope you like it.

Spring Chickadee and Video

Hello friends. Today I am sharing a card I made using the CottageCutz Spring Chickadee die. I also made a video showing how I made my little Chick. Happy Birthday!

Hello friends! Lots of birthdays in February. I made this card for a friend. Her birthday was yesterday. My birthday and my friend Judy, that I craft with at Ink About It, is today. Happy Birthday Judy if you are reading this! My Father-in-law is turning 84 tomorrow! Happy Birthday Dad! Happy Birthday to all of you that have birthdays in February. My sister Dianne celebrated her 60th birthday on the 18th!

The card was made with Unity Stamps. The cake and the party stamp are from the May 2011 Kit of the Month set. The balloons are from the Feb. 20011 Kit of the Month set. The balloons were tied to a bicycle. I just wanted the balloons, not the bike. I used RV-02 Sugared Almond Pink, C-3 Cool Gray, and a black copic multiliner to color the images. The balloons have some glossy accents on top, though you can't tell by the photo. If you join the Kit of the Month Club, you only pay $31.00 and that includes shipping. Oh darn, I was too late!!

Hello friends! I made this card for the Peachy Keen Challenge #5 but I missed the date. Darn! Oh well, better luck next time. I wanted to practice my copic coloring with shades of black/gray. I still need lots of practice but it was fun to challenge myself! I reverse stamped the image and darkened the lines with a very fine tipped copic multiliner. I drew the sidewalk and background with the same fine tipped multiliner. Then using cool shades of gray, I tried to color the image like a black and white photo.

The sentiment is hand written. I would love to see how my friend Lorie would color Vivienne from PK-277 Vivienne and Friends set. I learn so much from her inspiring work! I hope I make the deadline next time!

Spring Chick

Hello friends! Today's card features the Shower Peepers die designed by Peachy Keen Stamps. This is a 4x6 inch die that includes 3 face stamps and accessories, an umbrella, a broom, and some flowers. I chose to use the umbrella. She looks like she is singing in the rain.

I used white cardstock to cut the diecuts, and a combination of regular markers, chalk, and ink to add some shading. I used lime green Stickles on the umbrella. We have had a very mild winter this year, YAY! Happy Spring everyone!

Unity Pinterest Challenge

Hello friends! Here is a card I made for the Unity Pinterest Challenge. You can read all about it here. I used the Itty Bitty everyday, EVERYWHERE stamp set and Sweet Paper Pals set. I also used the zig-zag from Neopolitan Bisque Soup and the Bless Our Nest sentiment from Grandma's Needlepoint stamp set. I used Colorbox Charcoal Chalk Ink to stamp the images onto Craft cardstock.

I believe the tiny pocket and tag are by Melissa Frances. A small bit of burlap and some gingham fabric complete the project. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Peachy Keen Challenge #4 Color Inspiration

Hello friends. I haven't posted in a week because my first and oldest son got married on Saturday. It was a beautiful, private wedding in Vermont. I will post pictures when I receive them. It was such a special, blessed event and I am so happy for my son and new daughter-in-law. It was the perfect weekend!

Puppy Love

Hello Everyone!

Today I have this adorable Sweetheart Puppy die to share with you. I think Cottage Cutz make the cutest dies!

I cut the puppy from white cardstock and colored her up with my Copics. I think this makes a cute Valentine card but like all Cottage Cutz, they can be used in a variety of ways, by adding or removing different components from the die. Hello Friends! I have a couple of cards to show you today. I used dies from the Valentine release. My first card was made with Kitty in Chair die. Even though it was released with the Valentines, by changing the colors it can be for any occasion. I made a living room scene and added the sentiment to the picture frame hanging on the wall. I tend to like to make scenes. I hope you aren't getting bored with them.

I used the Love Shack die to make my next card. I love house dies and this one is a real cutie. It doesn't have to be made into a Valentine. There are so many cute dies in the store! I hope you will take the time to have a look in the store.

I cut the house from white cardstock and colored the images with my copics. Have a GREAT day!

Peachy Keen Pocket Challenge 01

Hello Everyone! I am trying to sneak this in just under the wire. Hope I make it. My camera is trying to import the photo as I type. I made a pocket card and a little pocket that can hold a little treat. Whew! I just posted it with 7 minutes to spare.

I used the new PK- 295 Cupid's Sting. I sure had fun coloring up these two little cuties! The card on the left has a pocket made from hearts. I mounted the cupids onto white chipboard so they are sturdier in case the little girls want to wear them as necklaces. They would make cute refrigerator magnets too!

Good morning friends,

Today's card features one of the new Valentine release dies called Kitty Love Mail. Lots of really cute dies from this release, so I hope you will go take a peek. I cut the pieces from white cardstock and colored them with Copics. Lately I have been liking more clean and simple cards. I placed the die cuts directly onto the card. I made a sun from twine and also tied some twine with a bow to the card.

Playing With My New Peachy Keen Stamps

I have a couple of cards to share with you today using my new Peachy Keen Stamps. I used the small Angel from the Stamp of the Month club. This is a great set with several images and face stamps on an 8 1/2" by 11" sheet. Have you heard about the new Stamp of the Month Club? You can read all about it here. I signed up for it. I think it will be lots of FUN! Peachy Keen has lots of new changes for 2012 and the new and senior Design Team is fabulous! I hope to join in on as many challenges as I can. My oldest son is getting married on Feb. 11 so my posts may be few and far between until after the wedding.

I colored this sweet little Angel with my Copics and as you can see, used lots of polka dots in my design. My second card was made with another newly released stamp set that you can find here. PK-10 Colby and Jack Cheeseheads. Could these stamps get any CUTER?? Kathy you ROCK!!

What's Cookin'?

Good Morning Friends! The winter has been kind of strange here this season. Still no snow. I do like the four seasons and wouldn't mind having a little snow. One thing that hasn't changed with the cooler temperatures is my love of soup, and the comfort it brings on a cold winter day.

For my card today I used the Pine Tree Forest, the 3x3 Campfire, and the 4x6 Stockpot and Veggies die. The Stock Pot and Campfire were cut from white cardstock and colored with copics. The trees were cut from patterned paper. The sentiment is a Unity stamp. You could tuck a favorite soup recipe inside this card and send it to a friend. My husband makes some really yummy soups too! Last week he made a very tasty bean soup with ham. Have a great weekend!

Puppy Love

Good morning friends! I hope you all had a Merry and Blessed Christmas or special time spent with loved ones during this holiday season. Our Christmas was very pleasant. My 15 yr. old had his wisdom teeth removed on Thursday. Other than having chipmunk cheeks, he has been such a trooper and hasn't complained a bit. Though he has been eating puddings, and jello, and ice cream and yogurt, he was able to eat a couple of helpings of turkey stuffing with gravy for his Christmas dinner. The rest of us enjoyed turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and some other sides. My oldest son said the turkey this year was one of the best he has ever had. It was very moist. I soaked it in a salt brine the last couple of times and I believe that has made all the difference. I always baste my turkeys but the salt brine was the only thing that was significantly different than other times I have prepared turkey. I always wash and soak my poultry, like my mother taught me, but I added much more salt to the soaking water than usual. I hope I haven't bored you with my little cooking lesson. I don't usual ramble so much. After dinner some of us started putting together a 1000 piece puzzle, another past-time my mother also shared. It is nice that my son's girlfriends also enjoy doing them as well. Enough of my rambling lets move on to my card.

I used the very popular Peeker Pocket die along with the Shih Tzu Peeker die to create my card. The little pooch was one of the first dies I ever received, and I still love it! I cut the pocket and puppy from white cardstock and colored the images with copics. To create the texture on the pocket, I first colored the pocket with a blue copic, I think it was Manganese Blue. Then I took a piece of scrap fabric that seems like a denim of some sort, and my colorless blender refill solution. Wet the fabric scrap with the colorless blender and press it to the colored pocket to remove color and create the texture. I learned this technique from a very talented artist, Joanne Basile, who taught some My Favorite Things classes at my local Scrapbook Store. (I hope I spelled her name correctly.) Isn't it a great technique? The paw print and sentiment are from Market Street Stamps Pawprints on our Hearts set and the clipboard stamp is by Unity. Less is More, Sometimes

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share a card that is different than my usual style. This is clean and simple with high impact, I think. I also wanted to show you that you do not need a Christmas tree die to make a Christmas tree. I first cut a triangle in the shape of a Christmas tree, from glittered cardstock. I cut several strips of paper using the Scallop Three Edger die from green patterned paper. I then layered the strips onto the Christmas tree, offsetting each strip so the scallops were staggered. I cut a brown tree trunk and then adhered the tree to a red card base. I cut a strip of white glitter cardstaock with a slight wave for a hill. Merry Christmas was written with a white gel pen, and a white snowflake was added for the tree star. How do you use your dies in different ways? Peachy Keen Challenge 67

Today is my final post as a regular designer for Peachy Keen, but I won't be too far away. I will be participating in future blog hops! I am excited to see who will make the new Design Team! Good luck to all who enter.

The challenge today is designer's choice. All that is required is that you use Peachy Keen Stamps. I chose to use some of the first stamps I ever purchased from Peachy Keen. PK-411 Lil' Gingerbreads and Phrases was one of the sets I purchased. It had been retired, but Kathy brought them back just because I thought they were so adorable! I simply asked her if she would bring them out of retirement, so she did! (Just like that! Kathy is so generous and kind!) Ginger bite and Snowmany Thanks were 2 other sets I purchased. I still think they are as cute as the day I bought them and they still stamp beautifully after all these years.

Here is my card!

I tried to incorporate my favorite style of cards (scenes) and some of my favorite design elements (gingham, paper piecing, and polka dots) into my card. I hope that I have inspired you to create and have fun. I have gained much inspiration from all of you out there in blogland.

Tis the Season

Hello everyone! Sorry for the late post. Better late than never right? I have a couple of cards to show you using the Boxwood Vine Wreath and I had an extra snowman scrap from the Snowman in Mug die.

I cut the wreath out twice and inked the leaves a bit with Brilliance olive ink. I put the 2 wreaths together and then wrapped some red and white twine around it. I had the snowman hold a stocking, and added a few poinsettias to the wreath along with a bow. I then used some striped background paper for the card. I stamped the sentiment, included with the die, onto the banner.

I used some of the other parts from the boxwood die to make the second card. I put 2 of the banners together to make it look like garland. Have you seen the new hunting dies? You may check them out here. As always, thanks for stopping by!

Exciting News Peachy Keen Design Team Call

Hello all of you Peachy Keen Fans! I have exciting news to share with you. Peachy Keen is having an open Design Team Call. I have loved every moment of being on this team and have formed many friendships with my DT sisters. I have been truly blessed to have had the opportunity to be on this awesome team. Kathy and Angelica have been amazing as Design Team Leaders and true FRIENDS! Adrianne and Lauri are a great team that get those orders out to you in record time! And of course Dave is the man behind the stamps. Kathy is the heart and soul of the company and her images have brought so much JOY to me and to all of you that use her stamps. They are a family that puts others first and I love them to bits! (Dear Viv has rubbed off on me a bit. I love her to bits too!)

Though I am sad to be finishing my full time DT position I am happy to say I will remain on the Alumni Team and participate in blog hops throughout the year. I have 2 cards to show you today. For my first card I used the Eskimo with Igloo die. I love Peachy Keen faces so I used one of those instead of the face of the die. You would need to cut a circle to stamp the face onto. I used liquid applique on the fur trim and heat set it. I love the look liquid applique gives to the fur trim.

For my second card I used the Winter Bird with Ornament die. This is a really nice die that is easy to use. I used patterned paper for the ornament and I really like the end result. The bird and branch can also be used for other seasons, just eliminate the snow on the branches.

PKKO-10 Winter Character with Hunter Hat Die and PKS-08 Penguin Boy with Bobber.

I just love the new cutting dies and stamps! I paper pieced the hat and used liquid applique for the lining, set with a heat gun. Snow Globe Fun

Hello Friends! Today I have a few ideas to share with you. I used the Cottage Cutz Snow Globe and Snowglobe, Winter accessories die. This is such a fun die with so many possibilities. I have 2 globes assembled and ready to put on a card. While looking at the globe it reminded me of an ornament, so I used a Cottage Impressions stamp, Cardinal with Holly Stamp. I also used the branch and ornament hook from the Winter Bird With Ornament die.

New Country Bumpkin Stamps

Hello friends! Time for another Tuesday sketch challenge with a twist.

THE CHALLENGE

Create a card with the sketch & TWIST provided. Peachy Keen Stamps are not required to participate, but we always love to see what you create with them if you have them already!

I always try to think outside the box when I look at a sketch. When I saw the stripes on the sketch I thought of candy cane stripes. So from there I think, what stamps do I have that would work well with candy canes? Of course PK-412 Too Sweet to Eat is perfect. So I am thinking I will use some red and white strips of Christmas patterned paper for the background. While browsing AC Moore, I saw some painted ivy bowls. So I thought, wouldn't it be cute to paint the vase with red and white stripes and fill it with candy canes. So that is what I did. A fun holiday decoration and the jar was only 59 cents. The vase is the circle with the painted stripes for the background. The tag with the stamped ginger is the focal point.. I stamped the peppermint candies and colored them with copics. I used a circle punch to punch the candies. The clothes for the ginger boy were paper pieced. I hope you will be inspired to think outside the box. Good morning friends! Today I have 2 cards to show you. I used the adorable Santa Puppy and Dog with Sled dies. I have been enjoying the new winter release dies and will be showing you more cards soon. I hope you will have a peek in the store and check out all the new, adorable dies. Enjoy your day!

I used liquid applique on the puppy's hat, sprinkled with glitter and then heat set.

Here is the card I created during my recent visit to Green Bay. The ducks are definitely a favorite of mine! I used the hats from the set PK-318 Penguin Doll Set. I used the masking technique to place the hats on the ducks. Now they are all set for winter. I used Copics to color the ducks. Thanks for stopping by. Winter is Coming Already

Hello friends! I've just returned from a really fun gathering with my Crafty friends from the Peachy Keen Design Team and Lorie and Angelica that are also on this team. Lots of great memories that I will cherish forever! For today's card I used the newly released die Snowman in Mug available for pre-order for next shipment. I am loving the new Christmas release. I cut the die cuts from white cardstock. I wanted to use a Peachy Keen face so I traced and cut the snowman from a piece of shimmering white cardstock so it wouldn't have the details in the face. I then used Copics to color the images and mounted it on Stampin Up designer paper and cardstock. The ribbon is also Stampin Up. Expect to see more winter designs shortly.

Hello everyone! I am back from a wonderful gathering of friends and family! I had the pleasure of meeting several of my PK sisters at the Peachy Keen headquarters. I met Lorie, Viv, Lisa, and Kim. They were all so nice and so much fun and you already know how very talented they are! Kathy and her family are fantastic. Viv and I were so lucky to meet Kathy's mom as well. I also had the pleasure of seeing my 8 beautiful sisters and much of the family for the annual Lasagna Party in memory of my father and also to celebrate my sister's, Barb and Bev's, birthday! Both images were colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. I created texture on the images by first drawing with a stylus, for the feathers, on the images before coloring with the colored pencils. It is a technique I learned at a class with Karen Lockhart. She does the most beautiful coloring with colored pencils.

Fall Harvests

Hello Cottage Cutz fans!
Today I have a few cards to share with you. They were inspired by things that remind me of fall or of summer's end.

Nothing says the end of summer like giant sunflowers. The sunflowers were cut from the Mouse with Sunflowers die and the rooster was stamped with a Cottage Impressions rubber stamp.

A lot of people can some of their fall harvests. I know jelly isn't canned in the fall but that is what the jars reminded me of.

Finally, apple pie is definitely a Fall treat. Apple pie or caramel apples. YUM!! I hope you are all enjoying a beautiful Fall! I used the Oven Mitt and Stuff die for this card also.

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge Fall Treats

Hello Getting Cricky fans! Here is an altered tin that used to hold tootsie rolls. I bought it at the dollar spot at Target a few years ago. I chose to use fall flowers and papers. to alter this little tin. It is about the size of a deck of cards.

I used words from Coffee and Tea For You and Me and from Food for Thought to make the tag. I stamped the words in Fall colors using Memento ink. Inside the tin are a few yards of ribbon. Fall Mash Up Blog Hop Day 2

Here are some more projects I made for my Halloween Scene. Scroll down for day 1 if you would like to follow the hop.

I used different face parts to create the vampire and kitty. If you look closely you will see that the eyebrows were made from the carrot noses from everyday character face parts. The vampire fangs were stamped from the Monster Mash Face assortment. I only inked the mouth and nose. The kitty's face was made with PK-291 Sampler Package of Faces for the mouth and whiskers. The shape of the eyes were stamped from PK-150 Accessories One Assortment.

Ticket to Ride

Good morning Today I used the ticket booth from the carnival release. I used softer colors because I love the way Cheryl has used these dies! I was thinking I could have made it into a baby card by stamping words that are baby related. There are lots of possibilities when you think outside the box. I also used the Boardwalk Carnival Silhouette die. Here is my card.

I used the Sew Easy to punch the stitch lines and then used the blue twine to stitch them. I inked the edges of everything with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink. I cut our some circles of various sizes with my scissors and crumpled and inked them for the flower. Have a fantastic day!

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge Fall Treats

Hello friends!

I hope you are all enjoying a nice weekend. We actually had to turn our air conditioner on yesterday. It was 80 and humid. I really love Fall. 80 is much too hot for my liking.

Today's challenge is Fall Treats, so I made this little treat bag. I had a package of treat favor boxes that I bought at the Dollar Tree. I was going to cover it with patterned paper but they were so flimsy. So I opened it and used it as a template to trace onto sturdier cardstock. I used a sturdy plaid paper from DCWV Ghost and Goblins Stack. You could put candy corn, chocolate kisses, or any treat that someone would enjoy receiving. You could put a package of brads or buttons or some other embellishment to give as a small gift.

I punched some leaves and then used Kristal's Fall-o-ween stamp set for the leaf tag. The mix and match greetings are so versatile. Please stop by and see what the other designers have created. As always, I appreciate you and I thank you for visiting!

What do you see when you look at this sketch? This is what I saw.

The bowling pins were cut from the Nifty Fifties cartridge. I used a variety of face stamps and hand wrote the sentiment with a white gel pen. You can choose how to end it. Bowled over by... your kindness, generosity, your friendship. You get the idea.

Here are some cards I made using the Fall-O-Ween set.. I used several punches to create the scenes.

To stamp the ghosts, I inked up single letters from the BOO word stamp. I punched a circle for the moon and sponged around it for the background paper.and then added some ink to the moon to make it look like wispy clouds.

I stamped the word BOO twice and tied off the card with a little twine that I inked up a little with the same ink I stamped and sponged with.

My second card I used some border punches, a circle punch, a Martha Stuart haunted house punch and a few others. I punched the moon from some mosaic patterned paper. I really like the look of the finished card.

Now for my projects. I received some Vintage Alphabet Quote Sheets, papers, and Vellum Quotes from the Miss Morgan line. I used the Vellum "Dream On" quote for this 8x8 layout. I thought PK-250 Sleeping Teddy was the perfect stamp to pair up with the quote and the paper. I also used PK-204 Lil' Bugs.

For my next project I chose PK-634 Frankly to use with The Miss Morgan product line.

I had a lot of fun with this one. I used the letter C from the Vintage Alphabet Quote sheet. Candy is Dandy How perfect is that?

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - Halloween

Hello friends! I always find it difficult to write a post on days that weigh heavy on our hearts. My father died on this date in the year 2000. I still miss him very much and can't believe it has been 11 years since his passing, 21 years since my mother's death. Life is a journey and I believe I will be reunited with my loved ones in heaven some day. Enjoy life and try to find the good in each day and the good in each other. God Bless us all!

Now for today's challenge at Getting Cricky. The Simply Sunday challenge is Halloween. I made a couple of cards today using the new stamp set Fall-o-ween, by KAndrew Designs. I love Halloween and had fun with this challenge.

I used many of the stamps to make the background paper. I used a large bat punch by EK Success. I punched one from confetti cardstock and stamped the word Batty on it. Added some lace trim, twine and bling for the eyes to finish it off.

For this card I started with a piece of patterned paper. I stamped a row of crows for the "banner". I then used the exclamation points turned upside down to create the spooky fence. The green grass was stamped with the wings stamps from the set. I used Cottage Ivy Memento Ink for the grass and the Happy Fall Sentiment. The pumpkins and the black cat were punched with Martha Stewart punches. I used some green gingham ribbon to finish the card. I hope I have inspired you to look at stamps in a different way, with a different purpose. Please be sure and check out what the other designers have created. You won't be disappointed. Peachy Keen Challenge 60

Good morning friends! It is time for another Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge.

I love Halloween so I chose some Halloween stamps and got busy. When I saw the sketch, I immediately saw a door with a window. I chose PK-617, Spider on Freaked Out Ghost because I think it looks like he could be peeking out the window the way his arms are positioned!

I used PK-630 Nikkity Knack for the ghosts. I used PK-601 Spiders and Cats for some extra spook!

Simply Sunday "Winged Things"

Hello everyone! Sorry I am late with my post today. We were without power from the hurricane and it just came back on so here you go. The Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky is Winged Things. I made two cards using the stamp set called Winged Things by K. Andrew Designs.

I used a Sizzix die to cut the butterflies. I stamped the sentiment with brown Memento ink and distressed the edges of the butterflies with the same ink. The background paper is by Memory Box.

I used a mix and match sentiment from the Winged Things set and stamped it on the die cut frame. I love the Font on this one and I love the fact that you can place the stamps the way you would like. The background paper and the butterfly background stamp is by memory box. Please be sure and check out the Getting Cricky blog to see what the other designers have created. Copic Practice

I joined a site, Make It Crafy, that someone recommended and have been practicing my coloring with copics. One of the free images I received was Pipi. The challenge was to color the image without black lines. I was pretty happy with how it was going until my copics started to misbehave. Have any of you had problems with the ink getting sticky, streaky, and shiny on top of the paper while coloring, making it impossible to blend, and basically ruining your image? I usually only noticed this happening with the darker colors, but am now noticing it will happen with light colors as well. Here is what someone recommended for cleaning copic nibs. I gave it a try with one of my nibs last night. I was surprised how clean it got. Seems to have made a difference. I am going to try it with some of my other nibs that aren't working so well. I would love to hear from you if you have had any of these problems with your copics.

So this is the image I received. I think it is such a cute image and it was fun to color. I was going to make her hair darker, and started to do so, but then the ink gave me grief. I messed up the 3 swirls on the left. Then I took my colorless blender and tried to clean up the sticky ink. That made a bigger mess so I tried to lift all the color from that spot. It didn't all lift but I made due with what I had and recolored those 3 swirls as best I could. The no black lines is a very unique challenge, in and of itself.

My next image is called sitting Jane and I purchased her here. I lightened the image in GIMP and printed it onto SU Whisper White cardstock. I started having difficulty with the sticky ink, so I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to the image to help with some of the shading. I drew the brick wall and sidewalk to ground the image and am entering it into the Ground Your Subject Challenge at Make It Colourful.com.

Now for my card. I used the adorable Bewitched Stamp. Too cute to be a witch, don't you think?

The bat was stamped on shrink plastic, cut and colored, and then shrunk using a heat gun. Shrink plastic is so fun!

I used Copics to color the image. The web is a Stampin' Up rub on. The skeletons were cut from a piece of patterned paper.

Fishing You Were Here

Good morning friends!

Today I have made a card featuring the Cottage Cutz Ring Toss and Fish Bowl die. This die is from the Carnival Release. Everything was cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics. The fish with sentiment was cut from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge. The sentiment is from K. Andrew Designs Art Stamps, Splash-tastic Summer.

I also wanted to mention the Halloween Release pre-order is in the store. I know a lot of you have been waiting anxiously for this release, and let me just say, "It is well WORTH the wait!!!" I am so excited! I want them all!! Have a GREAT day and thanks for looking!

Hello friends!

I am grateful that my parents taught us to love each other and to be kind to others. I have 8 sisters and we all get along without jealousy and truly love each other. Some families don't get along. We are very BLESSED!!

Let's Gather Round the Campfire

Hello friends!

Today I made a card featuring the stamp set, Gone Campin', by Market Street Stamps. I love this set and am glad I finally had some time to ink it up. After stamping the campfire, I just had to make it a safe burning place so I added the sandy base and rocks around the fire. I tried to make the sky have some glow from the burning fire. The marshmallows have been toasted a golden brown and the mosquito is on the watch for it's next victim. As always, thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! I am happy to announce that I have joined forces with the Getting Cricky Design Team. I have known Kristal for several years and I am thrilled to be working on her team using her wonderful sentiment stamps. She has a nice variety and most of her sets are mix and match which gives you so many options when choosing your sentiments. Today's Simply Sunday challenge was to create a party favor or gift bag, etc. I used Splash-tastic Summer to create this little wooden gift tote. The sentiment I chose is "You Float My Boat". So I found this nautical patterned paper to decorate the outside of the box. The boat was made from a Cottage Cutz die called Scooter and Tugboat. It was the perfect size for my project.
